I think the
DTV conversion is a conspiracy between the government and cable TV to get everyone to connect to cable.
I bought a Zenith converter box, and the antenna and amp recommended by Cowboy for Christ (Thanks Cowboy

) and still have reception issues.
On top of that we have a 27 inch tv when I adjust the format I either get
a black square around the picture or black bars at the top and bottom or part of the picture is cut off.
Not to mention the sound problems...
It seems the only way to get decent reception when it is breezy, get full screen images in the correct proportion is to have cable installed.
Give me back my analog TV with decent reception on 10 channels that will stay on when it rains or the wind blows. It is much better than having 30 channels that you can not depend on from the begining to the end of a program.
