If you have the TV GUIDE logo in the upper right hand corner as shown in the picture you have
TVGOS. If the logo is missing you only have
PSIP.

For example, when I set my Pal dvr to record Survivor, I went to the program guide and highlighted the show between 7 and 8pm and it took me to another screen where you can choose how often you want it to record (once, weekly, M-F etc.) That's about it, it will record weekly on that day and between those times. While on that second screen, if you choose OPTIONS, you can tell it to start and stop between 1-5 minutes before and after the show starts and ends. Not sure if I am getting TVgos or PSIP. Don't know much about the difference. How can I tell? |
