Never picked up a low band VHF signal and only once picked up a signal from high band VHF. That was a channel 8 which must have been from either Lima, Ohio or Louisville, Ky. Those cities have the only stations anywhere near here that broadcast on that frequency.

BTW, I use only bow tie antennas too but if the signals strong enough, you can pick the channel up with something like a paper clip pluged into your tv's 75 ohm input. We can do that with analog channel 7 here in the Dayton area.

Are you sure the channel isn't a low powered local?
