Yes, rabbitears says that my local CBS channel carries TVG. OTOH, that channel is running promos that after 12:30 PM on Friday, people need to rescan to get their signal, so maybe when they change frequencies the TVGOS will kick in.
I don't really care that much whether the DTVpal plus gets the real TVG. I'm more concerned with whether the DTVpal DVR would get it, and am assuming that its behavior would mimic the converter box's.

I would wait and see what happens on the 12th of June. If you still aren't getting
TVGOS contact the station engineer for the station responsible for
TVGOS in your area. Inform him of the issue.
