Did you watch any analog channels shut down?
I saw some local analog stations shut down during the day (6-12-09) but the best around here were the ones that shut down at midnight.
Here's a funny one...
A news hound from WHIO channel 7 went into the stations master control center and did a count down at 10 seconds before the shut down but WHIO's analog signal didn't go dead for another 30 seconds. LOL.
The news hound said something like, "If you're still seeing this...that's good. It means you're digital ready."
Eh, no. I was watching on analog.
And here's a nostalgic one...
WKEF channel 22 didn't go dark until 5 or 10 minutes after midnight and the last thing they showed was an old video of the flag, jets, and America scenery with the national anthem playing in the background. TV stations use to show that one before they signed off for the evening.
WKEF's was the best one and actually made me long for the days of analog tv again already.
