There's only one word that i can think of that describes these boxes... "Garbage." Yep.. that's the word that feels right to me. Go ahead & buy one.. I'm sure you'll agree (being sarcastic.. please don't waste your $$). All 15 people that I know that have bought the Craig CVD 50* models have returned them.

Several of the people used a government issued $40 debit card. All of those people lost their money. Apparently.. there are no refunds allowed, so you can go buy another converter box at any other store. Even the money you pay out of pocket is kept by the store. My son bought two at a CVS pharmacy (Of all places to buy a converter box).. All they would give them was an in house credit, & they didn't sell any other model converter boxes. Just these cheaply made Craig models. Anyone owning these might as well take some rabbit ears, & stand on top of your house with them.. you'd probably get better reception.

So.. the moral of my story is..
#1. Don't buy anything that has "Craig" on the box
#2. For goodness sakes people.. don't buy these boxes at a "Pharmacy"
#3. Before you buy a converter box, do your homework, you only get one shot if paying with a government issued debit card.

I haven't gotten mine yet, but i've narrowed my choices down to two.

#1. Zenith DTT900
#2. Dish Network TVPal or TVPalPlus

Good Luck Everyone.
Thanks for your input. Wish I had found this site before I bought...I bought mine at CVS pharmacy, like a dummy! Now I guess I have to go and buy another box. I sure did not save any money by using coupon, I lost my money plus the coupon $40.00. I am senior, handicapped and on a fixed income too!
