Hello, all. I'd just chime in here that I'm in a Chicago neighborhood that suffers dreadful VHF multipath, about 8 miles from the transmitters, and I've had excellent success on both VHF-hi and UHF with about 3 feet of plain twin-lead hanging off a 75-to-300 ohm connector. This is in three locations (including one basement apartment) and with both Zinwell and Zenith converters. The only elusive catch is WYIN out of Gary.
It ain't purty, but it's a very cheap experiment.
