Dear stormy, for me the cm 7777 was not enough to bring the signle in for me. I purchased a philips ph61112 amplifier off ebay. It done better in test than the cm 7777 and radio shacks 30db. It may just be in my area. It runs around 30 bucks, mine was well worth it. It has a metal cover instead of a plasitic that channel master has. That gives it a better ground.
