Hi Fox,

Surely the "leading industry experts" make an exception for long cable runs and multiple splits, correct? Fringe situations should also be given some consideration as well as local environmental conditions (trees, etc). 95% not needed seems way too high in my estimation.

One of my go-to guys said the following "use a pre-amp if you can't receive all your stations at a single tv or use a distribution amp if you can't receive (or have low signal strength) on all your channels on tvs further downstream." IMO, that is great advice.
