Hi Betty,
It means that Kara is the second person to enter the contest. Everytime someone submits their entry, it will attach below yours because you were the first one to originally enter the program.
I use this numbering system for keeping track of entry's on the forum as well as manually on paper (in case for some reason, the server goes down on the forum). On the last day of the contest, I input the entry's into an excel program that draws the winner randomly.
