Wickedlocal.com reports the following
DTV readiness tests in Massachusetts (and it's a big test! All stations are required to particpate according to the article) this week:
Quote:
BOSTON - To help viewers prepare for the shutdown of full-power television analog signals and the transition to digital television on Feb. 17, all 26 Boston market broadcast television stations and cable providers will participate in a day-long test of the new system on Tuesday, Dec. 9.
‘DTV Day’ is designed to let viewers find out whether they are ready for the transition. From 5 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., an intermittent daylong crawl in English and Spanish on all channels will direct viewers to WGBH-TV, where they will find complete information about the switchover.
