I have to say that the promotions of these coupons amounted to consumer fraud. I asked for one, after never having seen a single ad or announcement that it would take three months to arrive. And that it had an expiration date. Now, in my case, after having long since given up on them, I chanced to be out of town working when my coupon arrived. I returned a day after it had expired. No one asked me if they could have an expiration date. The second one I asked for took more than three months to arrive. In fact, I suspect that the evidence for fraud in this programme would be that it seems to explicitly say that the coupon will expire three months after being sent. Which means that it should have expired two or three days before it even arrived. It expires in February.
I was helping out a friend, and ordered his coupons. They took three months to arrive.
And then there was that intrusion last night. The unsought for interruption on all channels for the people that must be either too stupid or too poor to have taken the hint from the incessant advertisements for the
DTV change-over. Who do I send the bill to for that instrusion?
