I ordered my coupons as soon as I heard about the program, not realizing they would have an expiration date. They included a list of suppliers with the coupons; unfortunately, not one of the suppliers had converter boxes in stock! Radio Shack, included, stated they wouldn't be making them available until later in the year.
I wasn't able to use the coupons, which expired on June 3. I was never able to find a supplier who had the converter boxes for sale. I, too, believe this is just another scam.
The DTV2009 website indicates they won't reissue coupons for any reason. I think that, at this point, I would throw my useless old t.v. in the trash before I would pay full price for a converter box. The government needs to honor their program.
