Default Charter Cable and DTV

Charter Cable in Fort Worth TX says we have to rent a digital converter box from them, but their commericals say if we have cable we will still be able to receive all our channels. Will we need to get a coupon and purchase a converter box to receive their signals or rent a box from them? It is very confusing.

Assuming the Charter Cable in TX is the same one at charter.com, then you shouldn't need to do anything. Cable setups shouldn't be affected at all by the Digital Transition.
