Who was your favorite American Idol contestant

Kelly Clarkson was my favorite on American Idol season 1. She has gone on to be wildly successful, made four albums and had over eight singles become top ten hits on the Billboard 100. She has such an amazing voice! I wish I could sing like her

I think Carrie Underwood was my favorite. She has a strong voice and her personality is great. I'm not saying Kelly Clarkson is bad, Carrie is my favorite. I don't pick by how successful, though Carrie is pretty successful, but how they sing.

Yes of course, Carrie Underwood is also talented. I love her music, I love country music and I think she's really awesome. She is my 2nd favorite winner of AI. My favorite song of hers is Jesus Take the Wheel. I can't wait to see her do more things in the future. I'm sure there will be more great things to come for her.

I personally thought Kelly Clarkson was overrated. She wasn't THAT good of a singer. And she felt like she wanted to go rock but her record label wanted pop out of her.
