    Yea, I really have no clue as to what Dish or Blockbuster will gain from the deal. Perhaps some advantage for PPV, but deals Blockbuster has made for movies will have to be renegotiated to allow Dish any sort of access.

    Blockbuster on demand is overpriced - they need to have a "Pay One Price" plan if they hope to compete. Both these companies have had issues with customer service, and though I have seen signs that they are trying to remedy the situation, it's going to be sometime before they regain consumer confidence.

    Kudos to the reps from both companies who are now trying to fix those issues. It's been good to see several company reps joining this forum as well as monitoring the internet, looking help those who have issues.

    I think Dish wants the content deals primarily. They may also want to rebrand their PPV and ondemand as blockbuster.
