With prices being cut on Roku's "HD" streaming player, you can now pick one up for $59.99 at Amazon.

With a Roku HD, you'll be able to stream services such as Netflix, Hulu Plus, and over 600+ private channels. This unit is capable of displaying up to 720p resolution, so if you plan on connecting to an HDTV, you will receive high definition content from Netflix and other various streaming services. If you don't plan on connecting to an HDTV right now, the Roku HD will still connect to a standard definition TV as well. It should probably be mentioned that the Roku is capable of streaming other services such as Amazon instant Video (also known as Amazon Prime), Vudu, Epix, and paid services such as HBO GO.

The HD is also equipped with wi-fi for connecting to your home network.

Installation of the Roku box is as simple as connecting a DVD player. Simply connect the HDMI cord to your HDTV and set the device up to connect to your home wireless network. The whole installation should take less than 5 minutes.
