'The Good Wife': What Will Season 4 Bring?

First, as Jason stated, this is a blog, and in a blog, a person gives their opinion. That's what I was doing, and it's something I have believed as I have watched the storyline progress. I specifically chose to do this piece as a blog because I wanted to speak my mind about it. Otherwise, you would have seen a non-opinion version of what S4 holds over on the news page.

Second, my point in agreeing with the creator of the show is that Alicia was accusing her husband of one thing and then went out and did the same thing. Even in the work situation, she was prohibited by the job from getting involved with her boss. Granted, he's half responsible, but she knew the rules too. So, Alicia does things to suit herself. It's like that proverb about the pot calling the kettle black.

What gave her the right to do that? Uhh the fact that they were separated. People who are separated date other people all the time. What gives you the right to "amen!" something like calling a character who is obviously separated "The Good Slut"?

Alicia is certainly NOT a hypocrite. Peter slept with woman while they were clearly married, under Alicia's nose, and lied about it afterwards. Even when he claimed to have changed he was still harboring the secret of sleeping with Kalinda, just indicating how NOT on the up and up he was. Moreover, this entire season was about subtle corruption. The Kings said part of why Peter promoted Cary was because of some latent racism, that he saw a "little white version of himself" in Cary and so promoted him over the much more qualified Geneva.

The "morally corrupt" angle Robert King was referring to was the fact that this was her boss and that she was potentially lying to the public about still being with Peter. Not that she was cheating on Peter. She wasn't. They were separated at the time and are still separated, as Peter admitted in the deposition.

As for the title, this show was never about a "Good Wife." The title was always ironic. She WAS "The Good Wife" before the scandal but she hasn't been since the pilot episode and likely never will be again. The idea was always that being a 'Good Wife' isn't necessarily an ideal to live up to. The Kings have said time and time again how much they regret the title because it's misleading and has probably turned off viewers and isn't accurate to the core of the show.

It's one thing to not like Alicia anymore, but it's quite another to accuse the show of things it's not guilty of an duse that as evidence of something that's insubstantial. I disagree with the other poster about you being a bigot; I don't see how anyone could come to that conclusion after reading this obvious opinion piece. But I can understand why they had an angry reaction to this article; you really need to watch the show more closely.

Alicia going back to Peter the lying, selfish vindictive azzhole...I DON"T THINK SO!

If the Kings put her back with him, I will definitely quit watching the show.

After 2 1/2 years of hyping the Will and Alicia storyline to drop it like they did was really the worst part of season three!

What happen to show me the plan and Will...
