The best all-in-one modem router I've seen is the Arris / Motorola SURFboard Gateway SBG6580. It's just under $130 at Amazon but has a ton of configurable options, is DOCSIS 3.0 (fast), and firmware upgradable.

The Zoom 5352-00-00 is pretty good too and slightly cheaper, but I'd spend the extra $10 and get the Motorola because of the great support/updates. Just my opinion.

The Netgear Cg3000d Cable Modem/ Router is a good choice too.
