On November 1st, 2008 Comcast will raise the following cable television rates:
Standard cable TV / digital starter goes from $52.50 to $55.75 per month
Premium channels:
HBO goes from $13.99 to $14.99 per month.
Comcast claims that the basic cable rate will go up an average of 3.5 percent across the state of Tennesse after already increasing rates by 5 percent in Tennessee on January 1, 2008.
Call them up and tell them to give you a price break for being a loyal customer or you can quickly become an unloyal customer. This time of financial crisis is not the time to be raising prices on people, but its their bailout if they want to do it.
An increase of 8.5% in a year? That's rediculous. Well, do you think they're going to cut prices since gas and other commodities have dropped in price? Of course not.
