Just bought a computer this past weekend and I lost my paperwork with the POP3 and SMTP server addresses for setting up email in Microsoft Outlook. Anybody have their paperwork with those settings on hand? Would appreciate it.
If you use Thunderbird email, you just copy the profile folder from the old computer to the new one. It keeps all your settings, address book and mailboxes.
You know I keep forgetting I have an email account and can access my phone message service LOL. I don't even know why I bought an answering machine. and whats really nice is it saves the messages in a wav like format. I think I forgot my password too it's been so long since I've logged on Comcast.net
Redtide2012 were you able to get logged in to your voicemail? If not email me your account information and I will see what I can do to help. Make your subject HI Doug... Redtide2012 needs help. doug_powell@cable.comcast.com
I have no idea how it's done on new computers, but I know I was able to copy files from my window systems folders from old to new before and have most everything transfer over. I'll be having to deal with that whenever I finally upgrade the puter.
