Default If I get a receiver for one of my TVs, what will the other TV display?

I have two TVs that are connected to Comcast right now, if I get one receiver or box for one TV which would add digital channels, can I still get the same channels on my other TV that's connected to cable or do I have to get 2 receivers for both TVs. I don't care if the TV without the receiver doesn't get more channels, I just want it to receive the same channels I've always been getting. I'm hoping that I don't have to rent two cable boxes.

Thanks,

Audrey

Hi Audrey - depending on the package line-up you have may require to get a second box. For example, if you have a digital tiered package with a movie channel, i.e., HBO, Starz, etc,. for you to see the same on the second TV well yep you will need an additional box. Note that the first box comes with your existing package.

If you are just interested in getting cable, then i suggest a DTA which can be received by contacting us. If you would like more information email we_can_help@cable.comcast.com and we will offer all answers needed. Even if needed arrange for a box or the DTA to be delivered to you.

In addition to what Doug said, please note what I mentioned in your other thread, that eventually you may need some type of box (or CableCARD) for every television in your home on which you wish to tune in any services beyond limited basic cable (i.e., local, over-the-air broadcast channels, public access channels, and maybe a few others).
