Bristol Palin controversy extends to mom, Sarah Palin's TLC TV Series
On the heels of the controversy surrounding her advancement to the finals of Dancing with the Stars, Bristol Palin and sister Willow ran their fingers off on Facebook about their mother's series, Sarah Palin's Alaska.
The adventure series which airs on The Learning Channel (TLC) features the ex-governor and her family as they trek through Alaska.
The problem began when one of Willow's classmates stated on his Facebook page suggesting that her mom's reality TV series was failing. Apparently, Willow didn't take kindly to that and responded rudely, including a gay slur in her comeback response.
Bristol then chimed in with “You’re running your mouth just to talk s–t.”
The exchange continued until Willow concluded, “Sorry that you guys are all jealous of my families success and you guys aren’t goin to go anywhere with your lives.” Soon afterward, her Facebook page was deleted.
The interesting thing is that had the Palin girls showed a bit of composure and calm, they could have made an intelligent reply instead of the rants. That's because the ratings showed that Sarah Palin's Alaska became TLC's most watched premier ever with some five million viewers for the premier.
On the 17th, Bristol apparently thought better of the whole thing, writing on her page, “Willow and I shouldn’t have reacted to negative comments about our family. We apologize. On a nicer note, thank you for supporting the great competition in Dancing with the Stars!”
The internet is still buzzing over Palin's presence in the finals
of the dancing competition, especially after news surfaced that a Wisconsin man was so outraged that he shot his television and then held his wife hostage during a standoff with police.
Apparently, the man took the Bristol the Pistol moniker a bit too seriously.
