• Christian Slater Tries Again With New Fox TV Show

Christian Slater isn't done with television yet. Fox Network has announced that they are greenlighting a new comedy series from Sony Pictures TV entitled Breaking In to debut mid-season.

Christian SlaterThe comedy features Slater as a security expert who owns his own company. Its mission is to break into clients' offices to expose vulnerabilities. Slater is joined by Bret Harrison, best known for Grounded for Life and Reaper, who plays a computer hacker. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the series is described as “The A-Team meets Leverage.” In part, this is a workplace comedy that focuses on the oddities and outrageousness of the employees.

Also in the cast are Jareb Dauplaise, Jennifer Irwin, Trevor Moore, Michael Rosenbaum, Bret Harrison, Alphonso McAuley and Odette Yustman.

Slater's last two attempts for TV success have been dramas. NBC gave him a shot with My Own Worst Enemy and then last season, Slater stared in an interesting show called The Forgotten, which never gained a big enough audience to earn a second season renewal.

Breaking In will debut Wednesday, April 6 at 9:30 p.m.
