Miranda Otto will star in Fox's new dramatic series hopeful, "Locke & Key", according to deadline.com. The pilot revolves around Nina Locke (Otto) and her three children as they attempt to rebuild their lives after some traumatic event. The key aspect comes from their new home, a mysterious New England mansion with lots of curious keys. Otto previously appeared in "Cashmere Mafia" and "The Starter Wives".
Also in the news, with "The Adventures of Old Christine" done and gone, Juila Louis-Dreyfus has signed on to appear in a pilot for HBO. She'll play Senator Selina Meyer who ends up becoming Vice President. The show is a comedy and Louis-Dreyfus will also produce.
Finally, "Wings" and "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip" star Steven Weber will be shooting a pilot for TNT in December. According to the Hollywood Reporter, he'll play a police detective. He's widowed, while his partner, played by fellow "Studio 60" alum D.L. Hughley, is a newlywed.
