'Pan Am' Season Two is a Possibility

There is some interesting news coming out of Hollywood this week, including the NBC canceled series Pan Am may get a second life, err second season.

Deadline.com reported that the powers that be behind Pan Am have entered discussions with Amazon to continue the program.

Amazon has already announced that it wants to enter the original programming arena, and it currently carries season one of this 1960s series in its inventory of shows. The kink may be that Amazon has previously expressed an interest only in comedies and children's programming for its new original show plans.

Pan Am initially generated good numbers before falling off enough that the peacock network opted not to renew it. However, it is extremely popular in Europe, recently winning the equivalent of the Emmy overseas.

The ensemble drama stars Christina Ricci, Margot Robbie, and Karine Vanasse, among others.
