Apple iPad Mini Event on October 23rd

In what has been rumored as the "iPad Mini Release", Apple began sending our invitations today for press event to be held in San Jose at 10AM PT. The precise locale chosen will be the California Theater.

With various rumors and confirmations of production on pieces of the iPad Mini, it looks like the device may come to stores before the Christmas season this year.

Apple Insider broke news today with part numbers for the iPad Mini, which may include up to 24 different configurations and the possibility of four different hard drive options.

Apple is also expected to announce details of a 13" Retina MacBook Pro during next weeks event.

Though please be aware that all of this news is speculation at this point.
