  • Amazon Announces Black Friday Deals To Start Early for 2012

Good news for Black Friday enthusiasts. Amazon has recently announced that their Black Friday deals week is going to start on Monday, November 19th, promising amazing deals all day, every day, according to blackfriday.com.

Amazon Black FridayThe popular online retailer has also reinstated the Amazon Gold Box event, which includes all the new deals of the day. If visiting Amazon.com while logged in, The Gold Box also generates some unique deals based on your previous browsing and purchasing preferences. The Gold Box includes the Deal Of The Day, Lightning Deals and Best Deals sections, which allow you to save considerably. The current Deal Of The Day is the Rug Doctor 95469 Mighty Pro vacuum cleaner, for which you can save 63% of its original price, or $500.

While we wait for more Black Firiday ads to come out (this will likely happen in early November), taking a look at some of the highlights of 2011 might give us an idea of what to expect for the biggest shopping event of 2012.

Sears went out of their way last year, with four Black Friday ads presenting different product categories. We don't know when they're launching their 2012 Black Friday ad, but chances are things will happen much like last year, when they had a two day sale and several doorbusters, including two types of HD TVs and various appliances. In 2012, we might be getting some interesting deals on front-load washers, dryers and dishwashers. Sears will be opening the shopping season with a whole week of discounts, celebrating Thanksgiving. Their Kenmore 3.6 Cu. Ft. Front Load Washer is now available for $694.11, instead of $940.99, saving you $246.

Last year's Black Friday leaders, in terms of deals on electronics, were, without a doubt, Best Buy and Target, which offered the Sharp 42 inch HDTV for $199 (down from $499) and the Westinghouse 46 inch LCD for $298 (down from $549).

Walmart offered several big discounts on electronics, including the Amazon Kindle Fire 7 inch book reader for $199, the HP AMD dual-core laptop $248, and the Emerson 40 inch LCD HDTV for only $248. In 2012, Walmart cuts prices on various consumer electronics, like the Digital Prism 7" Portable Digital HDTV, which is now available for only $47.98, and the Sceptre 32" Class LCD 1080p 60Hz HDTV for only $209.98, down $140 from $349.99.
