It's been an eventful month this September in the world of TV and movie celebrities.

Leading up this week's review is little Winnie Cooper from the 80's TV show, "The Wonder Years". Winnie's portrayal, the beautiful and all grown up Danica McKellar, turned heads as a young girl, then went on to graduate Summa cum Laude from UCLA with a degree in Mathematics, and now has a new role: mother. Nine years ago, the United States and the world witnessed a horrific attack on New York City's World Trade Center and the Pentagon. A third attempted attack on that day, destination unknown, was thwarted by the brave passengers on board United Airlines flight 93. The world changed forever on that day with approximately 3000 losing their lives. Among those who died were six television engineers. From WCBS, Bob Pattison and Isaias Riveras, William Steckman from WNBC, Donald DiFranco from WABC, Steve Jacobson from WPIX, and last but not least, Rod Coppola from WNET. These brave souls kept the signals on the air until the very end.

Here at DTVUSA Forum, we remember all of those who lost their lives and honor their memory. We especially remember those who willingly gave their lives for others, including police officers, firefighters, emergency workers and the countless selfless citizens who stepped up to help their friends, neighbors and coworkers. We remember the lives of our uniformed men and women who risk and give their lives on a daily basis. We also especially remember the lives of those television engineers, and appreciate the hard work of everyone who helped us recover and heal from the attacks.

Scott Fybush has written an excellent article on the attacks. It is required reading for anyone who is interested in reading about radio and TV during the attacks, as well as the subsequent recovery.

    Never forget.

Donald Trump is back this fall in a regular (non-celebrity) version of "The Apprentice". The popular reality series has taken a break from its original form where men and women compete to actually work for the business tycoon for the past several seasons, focusing instead on celebrity editions.

Trump is returning to the original concept for a series that promises to have more emotion in it than the first few times around the TV block. The reason is that this season's The Apprentice has a theme that is backed by a weakened economy.

It is now official. After months of rumors and speculation, CNN has made the announcement that Englishman Piers Morgan will be Larry King's replacement for what is now called, "Larry King Live". The news is not a surprise, but neither has it been without criticism.

Some viewers know Morgan only from two American shows: "Celebrity Apprentice", which he won a couple of years ago, and "America's Got Talent" on which he's been a judge since the series debuted. Few realize that he does indeed have a journalistic background. Still, he's far more associated with reality series, not just here but in Britain as well.

Big news coming out of the Psych camp, and this one should draw some good ratings numbers, too.

Xfinity.tv is reporting that an upcoming Psych case will land characters Shawn and Gus (stars James Roday and Dule Hill, respectively) in a small Northern California town call Dual Spires. Sharp folks might notice the oddity of that title. Here's another hint. One of the residents is The Woman with the Wood. That might remind some of the Log Lady from the groundbreaking series, "Twin Peaks", and it should.

Last night, during a two-hour episode of Bachelor Pad, the Season 11 cast of Dancing with the Stars was announced. Leading up to the big news had been a slew of potential names that were more than lackluster. Some would even call it a nightmare, with only a couple of the rumored names appealing.

The rumors included Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino, NFL'er Kurt Warner, David Hasselhoff, Mel Gibson's ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva, Singer Brandy Norwood, Teresa Giudice (one of those real housewifes), Dirty Dancing's Jennifer Grey, Michael Bolton, Florence Henderson, Captain Sig Hansen of Deadliest Catch, and Kirstie Alley.
