My antenna will pick up certain stations that I watch alot when the converter box is not hooked up. Yet when I hook up the box I gain a few other stations but also lose a few that I really like. Why is this?
the digital stations for those you lose may be on another band, if they are VHF analog then they may be UHF digital. and if you have only a VHF antenna you would not get those but would get those that are VHF digital.
This happened to me and I discovered that the converter box does not have an anolog pass-thru, therefore I gained the new digital channels, but lost the old analog ones.
