Question DTV Converter Box/VCR/Satellite Dish

I do have a satellite dish, but my package is an old one that does not include local channels. So now I need to connect the DTV converter box to a setup that already includes a TV, DVD/VCR player, and satellite dish. Does anybody have any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

How did the connection (converter) to the satellite work? were you able to catch the local channels? I have newer t.v.s but the local stations have warned that we must have converter boxes if we have satellite.
You can answer here and send answer to jlt1953@yahoo.com

if you have tvs with a digital tuner you just need to connect an antenna to the tv connect the antenna to the antenna in on the sat receiver then when you switch to tv from sat you can get the OTA stations
