Default How do I connect my dvd/vcr combo to my dtv converter box?

I have a Magnavox dvd/vcr combo Recorder with digital tunner #ZV457MG9 and a Magnavox TB100MW9 converter box. How do I connect the dvd/vcr combo to the converter so that I can swith to another channel while recording?

You will need two converter boxes. One connected to your DVD/VCR combo player and one connected to your TV. There's a diagram floating around the internet somewhere on how to connect everything together like the setup you want. I'll see if I can find it.

It's a unfortunate circumstance of the transition but all CECB converters only have 1 digital tuner.

Finally found someone else who's discovered you can't record 2 different channels back-to-back when you're not home. It's idiocy that no one anticipated this. Apparently all the techies that developed this all have DVR's with 2 tuners now, so it didn't occur to them what was in store for us poor VCR owners. What did they invent VCR timers with 2 tuners for anyway? It was to record 2 different channels back-to-back when you're not home. As more people disconnect their sattelite systems so they can make their house payments, they too will find their VCR's worthless.

you can still record 1 channel though. Theres a tutorial on youtube. To record while watching another, you need 2 boxes.

Hi, were you able to find the diagram for connecting the converter box to my dvd/vcs combo so that I can record and watch tv at the same time?
