But as you point out here either intentional or as my take, begs for a glossary as well.

There are lot of them on the net, but it would be better if this site had one also.
Maybe I misunderstood, but I don't believe he's building a database to search through. He simplified it so you just scroll over the acronym and it expands the meaning for you. Jay did this so you don't have to look in a separate database for the meanings. But again I may have missed something. It wouldn't be the first or last time.

Heck I don't know. I have not rolled over one. But that would be a great way to do it.

@Piggie: Were you thinking we should have sort of a wiki style information page about each of the definitions? Or, I could create a separate thread with A/V words and link them to each of their wikipedi.com or other source that has already defined the word on the net.
Do I need a hover craft mod for my mouse? Just kidding.

Hmm on the wiki type page. I searched Wikipedia for a lot of the acronyms, and a little less than half were there.

Actually when I suggested a glossary, I wasn't sure what I thought for a format. Probably the most I thought about was just a page with a list of word and acronyms.

I don't know how much work it takes, but if you started a parallel site to this on a subdomain (dreams of grandeur) like wiki.dtvusaforum.com running wiki software? It might push this forum way up in ratings and being known.

Might want to do a more extensive search if anyone is doing this now. Wikipedia is very very extensive, but isn't complete in esoteric areas.

Mainly just throwing ideas around. I have a commercial server in a server farm (not at home) and if you ever needed a LOT of room, I am looking to sublease half of it. Just throwing that out so you know, probably don't even need anything that big at the moment.
