Yeah, a VCR or DVR would work. I don't believe the DVD or XBOX have a coaxial cable out?

OK, I will have to find an RF modulator and give it a try. I think I had one at some point. Wonder if I still do.
Yes, I guess you could call it black and white. Really blue and white but the same thing. Man, I really hope this will work. Cant thank you all enough, especially 1inxs!
Oh, lets say I get all this hooked up, would I have to tune the watch/receiver to a certain channel? Never used one of these converter.

Your pocket tuner is auto seek. If you set the CECB output to channel 3 the pocket tuner should top on channel 3. If you set the output to channel 4 it should stop on channel 4. Same thing with the RF modulator. It has channel 3 and channel 4 as output options. I'm 99.9 % sure this will work.

Actually, it is a manual tune. Does that change anything? We are talking 1980 tech here:-)

My mistake. The casio pocket TV from the eighties is auto tune. It doesn't change anything other than you will manually set it to channel 3 or channel 4.

Perfect. Going to pick up a modulator tomorrow (the cheaper route) and see if that works. I really hope it does.

Heading to the Shack right now then trying it right when I get home! Keep your fingers crossed for me.
Oh, so I have digital cable through a regular box and compatible TV, would I be able to pull the signal from that to the RF, then into the watch? No right? That is where I would need a converter. Hoping this works with my computer using either an S-video cable out or RCA out (no sound I know) into the RF, then a COAX to the watch receiver. Again, fingers crossed.

Good luck! Can't wait to see what a digital-to-analog picture looks like on a 8bit display.

Well, it looks like fuzz...
So I hooked up my iBook to the watch but got nothing. The computer has a special adapter with a RCA video out or S-video out. Used the RCA, plugged it in to the RF modulator, used a COAX out to the TV receiver, tuned it to either channel 3 and 4 but got nothing. That might be too much for the old girl to handle.
Does that sound like the right hook up? Would it work on a DVD player? What else should I try in order to get a picture?

What channel is your modulator output set to? When you say the RCA are you talking about an RCA CECB? You will need to set up the CECB to a TV to be sure all is scanned and tuned correctly. Have you set up the CECB?
