I dont have CECB yet. I thought I would be able to hook this up to a computer or DVD player. If no, do I even need this RF modulator? The ultimate out come would to be able to get the watch to play the James Bond movies on it. Either through the the computer, TV or DVD through the TV. What should I have?

It is important to confirm your RF source is working before you connect it to the pocket tuner. Test whatever your RF source is, on a known TV by connecting the coaxial cable to the test TVs VHF input. This will confirm which channel the source signal is output to (3 or 4). Then when you are sure the RF source is working, you connect it to the pocket tuner and set it to the corresponding channel (3 or 4). On a final thought. Make sure the Y adapter includes a 3 segment mini phone plug connector as shown in the picture in the previous post.

Oh, and what I meant by RCA is this:
That went from my computers video OUT adapter to the RCA video jack, to the RCA video jack IN on the RF.
From there, I hooked a COAX to the OUT and that to the COAX>RCA>Mini phones adapter I built which plugs into the watch receiver.
Set on either 3 or 4 and tuning to either did yield any image. Does that sound right?

I wasnt using the Y but will try again with it. The Y looks to be the same as one posted. Has two stripes like yours.

You can try to use the PC, but I don't have any information about your video output, so I don't know if it will work. If you connect it to the RF modulator and connect your modulator to a VHF input on a known working TV, and the TV you have it connected to works. It will work on the pocket tuner. Does that make sense? You need to verify you have a working signal for a source.

Ok, so my TV right now works fine but is digital and with no CEBC. That said, if I take the RF and hook it up to the RCA video OUT of my TV, that should produce a picture?

Just because an electronic component of any type, has a video connector coming from it, doesn't necessarily mean it has a signal to the connection or from the connection. Connectors on the back of a TV are usually just switched ports for HT connections. In one of your earlier posts, you mentioned connecting a DVD player to the pocket tuner. This was the reason for an RF modulator. Did you connect the composite cables from the DVD output to the RF modulator as planned? You need an old analog TV to connect your source to. This is to test that you have an RF signal being generated and is available through the RF modulator. Whatever your signal source. You can experiment with any matter of electronics. You need a proven analog signal to connect to the pocket tuner.

I hooked it up to an older TV I had, set to channel 3, through the COAX in the back and the signal seemed to work great. I was able to get the computer screen to appear on the TV. I would say the RF mod is working.
I hooked up the watch again and still no video singal. Interesting though I did seem to pick up some audio from a Spanish channel though which makes me wonder if the receiver will always try and pull a signal from its antenna.
Well, then all of the sudden the watches picture (which is fuzz) started to flicker then went out...totally. Turned it on after a few minutes and it came back on, flickered and went out. Might be out of luck.

Good, so now you know the signal is good. You can try and switch from one side of the Y adapter to the other. Tune the pocket tuner very slowly. Maybe even eliminate the Y adapter all together. You should get video unless the monitor is faulty. If you were using channel 3 when you got the Spanish interference, switch the 3/4 output on the modulator to 4 and try it again. Sorry it's harder for me to put it into words and type it than it would be for me to just do it.

I hear ya. It all seems to make sense but now I am worried the watch is faulty. Will have to see where it stands before I continue with this. Pretty bummed out. Hoping to figure it all out soon.
Everything you have said seems to make total sense. Though I did try it in both 3 and 4 an either produced any video.
