It wouldn't have to do with a 66 Cooper, would it? Subscribed to this thread.

Don't want to get off subject for this thread, but I love the play on Le Mans for the jalopy race They were probably into their cars less than $500.00 back in 1923. OK, sorry. I'll return this thread back to the Seiko watch You could start a thread in Off Topic - DTV USA Forum for the 24 hours of Lemons if you would like. It would be another cool thread.

66Cooper, While going through my old electronic junk, gadgets and gizmos, I remembered another way to get the old Seiko working. For around $30.00 you can send an analog signal up to 500 feet (200 feet or less from my experience) to any TV. Any TV within the 500 foot range tuned to the proper channel will get a pretty decent picture. I used to install these (not this brand) in a lot of C-Band satellite systems for customers. I'm going to do a youtube connecting a CECB to the audio video transmitter. I'll be walking around the house and yard with OTA DTV on my Casio. We'll see how far away from the transmitter I can get and with what quality signal.
Here is a link to an Audio Video transmitter. Wireless UHF transmitter sender Specializing in Transmitters for DSS directv audio and video

I hope this helps to get the old Seiko working again.

Awesome!
Well I finally got the picture to come onto the screen. Wanted to post my results. It is really hard to get a good picture of this and then youtube made it look even worse but in person, it looked rather stunning...for 1983. I was very excited to be able to film this. Hope i can get a better result tonight with a little more time.

YouTube - Seiko TV Watch Demo

On a sad note, I just sold the TV Watch. Some random guy offered me more then double what I paid and just cant pass up that deal. Will be looking for another one I'm sure but tonights my last night with it:-(

Wanted to say thanks to all that helped me through this. This has been one of those things you always wanted to do but never thought it would happen. Although small, I think it is a pretty cool thing to have the movie that made the watch famous, being played on the actual watch. To me, thats awesome. My own small contribution to the Bond fans.

Thanks again!
Brian

How did you end up connecting the Seiko?
I've seen these sell for around $600.00 on eBay. Check this one out
