Default VHS recorder problems

Hello,

I have a VHS recorder that is recording programs, but when I try to view the recording all I am getting is snow and no program.

Can you help me?

Have you verified your set up and made sure that the VCR and TV are both on 3 or 4, whichever you use?

Sounds like your VCR is still trying to record from it's analog tuner instead of your converter box. Have you connected the converter box to the input of the VCR?

Terry,
It definitely sounds like you haven't adjusted your VCR to record from the correct input, which you'll probably only have to set correctly one time because you're only going to want to record from the converter box output. There should be an option on your remote to flip between different inputs. Some VCRs have more than one input too, so you might need to press that button a couple of times until you see the output from the converter.
