I bet the only 'new' converters i'll see will be the ones popping up in the thrift stores when people finally get that new HD set and get rid of the converters. i still see a few old 1980s Cable Converters pop up from time to time. one still worked (WOW) i mean you could still get whatever primitive guide it had back in 1984. apparently it was still active and functioned. how likely is that?!
