Converter Box With No Remote

I recently was given a DTV converter box, but no remote was with it...

is it possible to rescan or where can i find a remote ... the universal remote I have now will not rescan ... it will change channels but not rescan... help

Could you post just a little bit more information. For example, what brand and model box is this? If I recall correctly, some can do just about anything without the remote control, but on the other hand, some can't do much of anything without the remote control.

Check Walmart / Kmart, / Target, etc. they have several Universal remotes (under $10 for most) that say they are compatible with converter boxes.

Make sure they state on the package that they are compatible with converter boxes, and manufactured after 2009.

It's possible that one of these sources may be able to help you, in many instances, they have Originals...
