My favorite SD D2A converter box is a Channel master CM-7000.

WOW, that's quite a list !, I didn't realize that there were that many Converters available.

However, if I may point out, that one need to take a close look at some rather important features on a Box, which may be quite valuable to a User, as time passes.

    VCR TIMER:
This allows one to combine the scheduling of his Analog VCR/DVD to record a program.
    BATTERY BACKUP:
If your location is prone to have Power Outages, this is a very handy feature in conjunction with a Battery Operated TV.
    ELECTRONIC ON-SCREEN PROGRAM GUIDE:
Being able to view the nightly/daily schedule is convenient, some Converters have a 7 Day Schedule.
    S-VIDEO or COMPONENT OUTPUT CONNECTORS:
Most Converters have the Composite (RCA) connectors, but the S-Video will deliver a better picture and the Component is best. Check your Television, not all TV's have these type connectors.

The above is only a few of the more important features. Be sure to look through the specifications of the Box you are considering, and if there's anything you have a question about, please come back and ask.

    NOTE:
If you wish to watch one program, while recording another, you must have TWO Converters.

    Good luck !
