What would it take to connect a USB ATSC tuner to my HTPC and then output it through HDMI to my TV? What would I need to do this? I've been looking at ATSC Tuner STBs for weeks now and haven't found one that I'd like or they're too expensive. I already have my HTPC for music and movie storage. I'd love buy a USB tuner and connect it to my TV.
You can easily output whatever is on your computer screen through your HDMI cable to the TV. If you already have the HTPC and a tuner card with HDMI out then all you'll need is the ATSC tuner card or USB tuner. At least in theory it should be easy to do.
