The tuner chip in the DTVPal Plus is more sensitive. It was a design change for areas with weak signals.

Im looking to get one to use on the 27" Sanyo, long term (and the DTVpal looks to be the most friendly (especially if it has an improved tuner!). And Im also looking to get one to use for its metering ability.

Working in Nevada this week. I'm in a hotel in Nevada on my laptop. I saved some websites with the tuner chip information in my bookmarks on my home PC. When I get home this weekend, I will look through my bookmarks and post with the websites. I've been driving for 14 hours, but when I regain my land legs and thought process, I'll search for the websites and post sooner if I can locate them.
