Default Cancellation Fee
Is it expensive to terminate a contact early with DirecTV? My work just cut my hours and I have like no money now. Can I bargain with them? Or at least switch to a cheaper package? Want to be armed with as much information as possible before I call them.

Yes it can be expensive to cancel, but try calling them and negotiating to a smaller package if you can afford it. Make sure they don't renew your contract again either. How many months do you have left on your contract?
