We signed a 2 year commitment with DirecTV about 8 months ago for our summer cabin in northern CA. What we'd like to do is suspend service from November through January and resume again in February. We still visit during those months but are much more active while we're there and watch much less TV. So, is this possible to do and does this cause any penalty to our contract?
I doubt it, it'd probably be classed as a termination and such. You're better off asking the company themselves if you can suspend it. Three months isn't really that much TBH, but I'd just leave it alone and not incur those hidden charges that cable companies have a fetish for.
