Default Old Dish

The previous owner of my house left behind her Dish Network satellite. We don't use Dish Network, and most likely never will. What should I do with it? Any suggestions?

Well if its made of metal I'd take that sucker to the scrap yard and see what they offered me for it. hehe. Doubt you will get much for it. But it never hurts to try.

Those are both great suggests. I wouldn't mind just breaking it or doing something silly with like toss it are the yard, but I was just wondering if there was other ways of getting rid of it. Your comments made me laugh, thanks for that!

I would definitely get it melted down if possible. You can get a lot of money for that! But you could always put it on ebay or something so then you can make money off of it incase that it's not made of metal.

That is a pretty good idea that you have too. I wouldn't even know if the thing still actually worked. I still may just use it as a really big frisbee!

Personally, I would just leave it. Unless, it is an eyesore or in your way. You never know when they may just have such a great deal, you want to try them out. I wouldn't try scrapping it right now, the scrap metal prices are at a bottom low. Wait until the economy picks back up, if you want to scrap it. I kinda like the frisbee idea, too. It sounds like fun. Also, if you end up winning the lottery, you may decide to buy a couple more houses and move out. The next owners might want your dish.
