For some reason I can't get my receiver to change the channels. This just started this morning. I tried replacing the batteries in the remote, but that didn't help. Would appreciate any help. Thanks.

Can you tell me what model your receiver box is? Also is this for the TV connected right by the box or a secondary?

Hi, yes thank you. We have the VIP 922 DVR receiver. I tried again this morning and it still isn't working. I tried turning the power off for 5 minutes and it didn't help.
No problem, that's what we're here for! Hold down zero on your remote until the system wizard comes up. Once it does go to restore and press select, make sure there is a green dot next to remote then go to restore again.
It will tell you it's downloading wait until that's complete and you should be all set!
