Do you have trouble where your Dish remote control does not work your TV or
DVR or VCR, etc?
Dish has a new remote control out called the model 21.0 learning remote.
Besides having many more codes than any remote control in the past, you can teach it things using existing remote controls you already have.
I have an Olevia TV that a regular model 5.3 remote did not work. Olevia codes are not even included in the Dish manual. I bought the 21.0 and fould the codes and it works!
It goes beyond this. You can teach the remote things it doesn't know yet simply by going through the steps in the online instructions. You will need to point your old and new remotes at each other to teach the new one.
This is an excellent feature. Unfortunately, if you lost your old remote or it doesn't work anymore, you won't be able to use this latter feature. Maybe go get one ahead of time so if something happens in the future, you will have a back-up.
The remote can be used in either UHF or IR mode so it can work with any TV in any room.
The cost is $20.00 per unit plus tax and shipping and it's available on the phone or at the
Dish website.
