Are 3-D TVs going to be the next big thing?

    Default Are 3-D TVs going to be the next big thing?

    I've seen a few advertised, but haven't gone in and demo'd one yet. Anyone seen a new 3-D HDTV yet? Is the technology their yet? I've head that the new ones don't require 3-D glasses....

    I was thinking that mini or micro projectors were going to be the next big thing.

    How about Holograms. I'm still waiting to upgrade my entertainment center to a holodeck.

    Too bad Super 8 films are so expensive these days because a good copy of one of those films looks so much better than anything projected from a video source.

    They're much more here in Europe to even consider purchasing. About 40% more than a good HDTV like a top of the line Sony LED.
