How do we hook up our RCA DTA 800 converter box to the RCA ANT 2000 and our VCR/DVD player? There is also a rooftop antenna on our apartment building. Instructions for the converter box don't say how to add the smart antenna, and instructions for the smart antenna don't show what to do with a VCR/DVD player. We need the VCR/DVD player to always be hooked up because my disabled brother watches movies almost every day.
We only get one channel with just the converter box, and live approx. 50-60 miles from towers which is why we bought the smart antenna. We know how to hook up the converter box with the DVD player, but don't know how to properly add the smart antenna. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

attach the smart antenna to the box. out to tv to the dvd/vcr antenna in the out to tv on the vcr to the tv.

Is it the actual connection of the Smart Antenna that's throwing you off, or do you want to know how to connect everything together?

Smart Antenna to the Converter to the DVD Player to the Television as Cowboy stated should work fine otherwise.
