Default I see no difference in DTV.

Well, I was hearing all the hype of DTV, [better pictures and better sound], well I see no difference and I hear no difference. Do you see or hear a difference?

Are you getting a TV picture using a CECB? You're not tuning the the channel using the TV tuner correct? If you are seeing a DTV picture instead of an analog picture you will almost definitely see a difference.

For folks who have always gotten perfect signal, the switch to digital may not seem like much, unless you upgrade to HD.

highest quality you can get from OTA HD channels is 1080i right now. Anyone who just bought a new LCD can get all their HD locals for free.

Even perfect analog signal looks a lot different than a clear digital signal. i mean analog even with sharp picture has 'ghosting' and other anomalies.

do your channels on the OSD (On Screen Display) of the TV or box have 'dots' like say 25.2 or 4.1? if not you're not watching digital television at all. all digital television channels are like that. .1 being the main network and any of .2, .3. and so on are subchannels through multicasting.

There's a huge difference even on standard definition TVs with an RF connection from a converter box. Somebody has screen shots on here taken, can't remember who, but too bad we can't do a direct comparison, side by side, pre and post converter box. I'm not trying to be mean, but it might be time for a possible eye doctor visit?

Even with the clearest of analog next to digital you will notice a difference as stated by DTVuser2009.
